2026 Training-the-trainer Programme: Green Maritime Fuel for Sustainable Shipping

This programme is co-organised by PMDC, PolyU, Maritime Just Transition Task Force (MJTTF) and Transport and Logistics Bureau (TLB).

This is a three-day training programme (two cohorts: 08 - 10 Apr & 13 to 15 Apr) delivered by the experts from MJTTF, an organisation jointly led by the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), the International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), in collaboration with the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) and the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

The programme successfully attracted a diverse group of participants, including academic staff, maritime administrators, industry practitioners, human resources personnel of shipping companies in Hong Kong.

The lecture-cum-discussion format facilitated meaningful interaction and exchange among participants from both academia and industry, contributing to effective knowledge transfer and capacity building.
