Our Centre held Seminar on Review and Prospects of Drybulk Shipping Market from 2008

IMC-Frank Tsao Maritime Library and Research & Development Centre (IMCC) hosted a seminar on review and prospects of the drybulk shipping market from 2008 on 10 April 2014. It was delivered by Mr Shou-Ren Wang, Deputy Director of Shipper Division for China Shippers' Association. The seminar was attended by 30 participants including PolyU research students, alumni and academic staff as well as industry practitioners.

Statistics and experts' explanation on the demand and supply of the drybulk market, and drivers for the increase of the freight rate, etc. were presented. The participants also learnt about the future drybulk shipping market trend from Mr Wang's analysis and predications.
