Our Centre held Open Forum on Maritime Education and Development of International Shipping Centre

IMC-Frank Tsao Maritime Library and Research & Development Centre (IMCC) hosted a discussion forum on the topic of "Maritime Education and the Development of International Shipping Center" on September 11, 2013. Participants include LMS students, alumni, and academic staff, as well as industry practitioners and government officials. As a teaching and learning initiative, this forum created an opportunity for PolyU students to have a direct conversation with the industry practitioners and government representatives on the future development of the shipping industry in Hong Kong, helped our students to understand the contemporary and pressing issues facing the Hong Kong shipping industries and their expectations, so as to be better prepared for their future career.
